TREASURE HUNT IN PARIS

The treasure hunt in Paris,
neighbourhood by neighbourhood.

A treasure hunt in the neighbourhoods of Paris

Organising a team building treasure hunt in Paris means turning the city into the living backdrop for your event. Happy Unity designs routes through the capital's most iconic neighbourhoods: the streets of Montmartre and Place du Tertre, the Latin Quarter and the Panthéon, the Marais and its private mansions, the Passages Couverts on the Right Bank, Les Invalides and Opéra Garnier, right up to the modern esplanade of La Défense. Each team, equipped with a tablet or their smartphone, follows a series of riddles, photo challenges, and collaborative missions that reveal Paris from a unique perspective. The treasure hunt is just one family among our team building activities in Paris: investigations, construction challenges, culinary or creative workshops complete the catalogue.

, THE TREASURE HUNT GUIDE,

All about
the treasure hunt
in Paris.

Where can you organise a treasure hunt in Paris?+×

A corporate treasure hunt in Paris can take place in almost any neighbourhood of the capital. The most requested are Montmartre and the Butte du Sacré-Cœur, the Latin Quarter around the Panthéon, the Marais and its historic streets, the banks of the Seine from Trocadéro to Bercy, as well as the business district of La Défense. Happy Unity has ready-to-use routes in these areas and can also design a rally in the neighbourhood of your choice or directly within your Parisian premises.

Can you do a treasure hunt in a Parisian museum?+×

Yes. Our indoor routes take over major Parisian museums: the Louvre Museum (from the Mona Lisa to Pei's Pyramid), the Musée d'Orsay and its Impressionists, the Musée du Quai Branly or the Opéra Garnier. Teams solve observation riddles in front of the artworks, sheltered from the weather. It's the ideal format to combine culture and cohesion, especially during a seminar in Paris.

How does a team building treasure hunt in Paris unfold?+×

After an on-site briefing, your employees are divided into teams of 4 to 8 people and receive a tablet (or use their smartphone). They then follow a Parisian itinerary punctuated by riddles, photo challenges, and observation tasks, geolocated by the Indiana app. Points accumulate throughout the route before a final ranking and, if you wish, an awards ceremony. A Happy Unity facilitator oversees the entire event.

How many participants can a treasure hunt in Paris accommodate?+×

Our Parisian treasure hunts adapt equally well to a dozen employees as to several hundred participants divided into simultaneous teams. Thanks to the app's live dashboard, we multiply control points across Paris to avoid congestion and maintain a fluid pace, accommodating up to 5,000 people for very large events.

Can you organise a treasure hunt on the Seine?+×

Yes, it's one of our Parisian signatures. The Batobus Rally and the Zodiac Rally navigate your teams on the Seine, from one monument to another, combining navigation, riddles, and observation challenges from the river. Your employees discover Paris by water, from Trocadéro to Bercy, for a truly unique experience.

What happens in case of rain in Paris?+×

The weather won't compromise your Parisian event. Each outdoor route has an indoor backup plan: a switch to a museum, the Passages Couverts on the Right Bank, a gallery, or your own premises. The decision is usually made 24 hours beforehand, and the Indiana app instantly reloads the backup route.

Is a treasure hunt in Paris suitable for all employees?+×

Yes. Our Parisian scenarios prioritise observation, reflection, and cooperation rather than physical performance. The challenges are varied so that everyone can contribute their skills, regardless of age or role. Routes can be adjusted for accessibility constraints, for example, by choosing flat neighbourhoods like the Marais rather than the stairs of Montmartre.

Can a treasure hunt be customised for my company in Paris?+×

Absolutely. We rewrite the scenario around your brand, your values, a product launch, or an internal message. Riddles, challenges, visuals, and prize-giving are all adapted, and the route can connect places important to your company (your Parisian headquarters, a seminar venue, a symbolic monument) for a unique experience.

Which treasure hunt format should I choose in Paris?+×

That depends on your objective. To discover a neighbourhood, opt for a geolocated urban rally (Montmartre, Latin Quarter, Marais). For a weather-protected seminar, choose a museum format or the City Express. For a large group, the multi-team format with real-time ranking is ideal, and for a gourmet experience, the Gourmet Rally connects the best Parisian addresses. Our project managers will guide you based on the number of participants and the time available.

How long does a treasure hunt in Paris last?+×

A route generally lasts between 1h30 and 2h30, including briefing and final ranking. This duration adjusts to your programme: a short City Express version for a half-day seminar, or a longer format combined with lunch or an evening event in Paris.

Do you need an app or equipment to play in Paris?+×

Everything is provided. Your teams play via our Indiana app, on the tablets we provide or on their smartphones. No complex installation: the app geolocates teams in Paris, triggers riddles, and automatically calculates the ranking. You don't need to prepare anything technical.
