A museum of inventions as a playground

Your teams explore the eight sections of the Museum of Arts and Crafts, tablet in hand, searching for clues.

Riddles, not a guided tour

Drawings, photos, voice recordings, and observation riddles punctuate the route, from the briefing to the final ranking.

A collective conclusion

Scores are tallied live, and the final ranking is announced on-site.

Treasure Hunt - Museum of Arts and Crafts

What awaits you.

What if your teams could trace the history of great inventions? At the Museum of Arts and Crafts, our treasure hunt transforms this science and technology museum into a playground. It's one of our corporate treasure hunts: 1h30 to 2h30, for 10 to 80 participants. Find it among our treasure hunts in Paris.

The route covers the eight sections of the museum, from early mechanical calculators to aviation pioneers. Foucault's pendulum, the Pascaline, Lavoisier's laboratory, Cugnot's fardier, Clément Ader's and Louis Blériot's aircraft under the nave's ceiling: each invention becomes a riddle. Here, you won't just read the labels. You'll observe the architecture, decode the workings of a machine, and scrutinise the hidden details of the exhibits.

With a tablet in hand, your colleagues will tackle various challenges: drawings, photos, voice recordings, observation, riddles, and chronological games. A fun, surprising, and rigorously documented experience that sparks conversation and collective curiosity.

On the programme for this experience:

  • Discover the inventions that changed the world from a new and fun perspective
  • Solve riddles as a team, combining logic, observation, and general knowledge
  • Strengthen bonds between colleagues and celebrate genuine team success

Price of a treasure hunt at the Museum of Arts and Crafts

The treasure hunt at the Museum of Arts and Crafts starts from €1,690 excl. VAT for 10 participants, which is €169 per person. The pricing then scales by group size: €2,090 excl. VAT for up to 30 participants (i.e., €70 per person); €4,290 excl. VAT for up to 80 participants (i.e., €54 per person). These amounts are based on the rates shown in the price simulator for the venue's postcode.

The maximum number of participants announced for this activity is 80. To compare with another format in the same category, take a look at the treasure hunt at the Opéra Garnier.

Organising a treasure hunt at the Museum of Arts and Crafts during a seminar

The treasure hunt at the Musée des Arts et Métiers fits into a corporate seminar as a 1h30 to 2h30 session, including briefing and results announcement: the format fits within a half-day. Everything takes place on a single site: there is only one meeting point to communicate and no transfers to organise during the activity.

  • A bonding experience: mixed teams, informal exchanges, and shared memories.
  • A clear structure for participants: a start, challenges, a ranking, an award ceremony.
  • A format that can be linked to a larger corporate event, convention, or corporate party.

Access, tablets, and déroulement

The activity unfolds in four stages: welcome and briefing, distribution of a tablet per team, exploration of the collections through riddles and photo challenges, followed by scoring and announcement of the final ranking.

The interactive map unlocks points of interest as you progress, and the host officiates throughout the game. For an outdoor route, check out the treasure hunt through the covered passages. You'll find other comparable formats among our corporate treasure hunts.

Number of participants and target audience

The activity is designed for 10 to 80 participants. It's suitable for a department, a project team, or a cross-functional group: teams are formed during the briefing, making it an excellent integration tool for colleagues who don't often interact.

The route is on foot within the museum, with no particular difficulties. In terms of skills, the game combines orientation, observation, and general knowledge: everyone finds a role within their team, and no prior knowledge of the venue is required. If your group size or context falls outside this scope, we also create bespoke formats; otherwise, the treasure hunt at the Louvre Museum covers a similar need.
