The Phone Call begins like an ordinary meeting: a stranger collapses in the middle of the group, and the police turn the participants into impromptu investigators. The condition is therefore the same as for any surprise event: no one must be forewarned.

The format is suitable for seminar conclusions and team evenings, where the abrupt shift from seriousness to playfulness creates the desired effect. It lasts 2h to 2h30, making it the longest of our investigation games.

The main constraint is not material: all participants must be gathered in the same room without suspecting the activity. Otherwise, the opening scene loses its impact.

There are no roles to play: participants are investigators; the immersion is driven by the actors and the scenario. This is a key difference for groups reluctant to engage in role-playing activities.
